Dr. Tung graduated in May 1991 from the University of California, Berkeley CA, with a B.S., Biochemistry and received her medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, California’s School of Medicine in May 1995. From June 1995 through June 1998, Dr. Tung completed her internship, residency program and Level III Echocardiography Training at the University of California, Los Angeles. She completed her Clinical Cardiology Fellowship training at Scripps Clinic, La Jolla, California in June 2005. From 1999 - 2000 Dr Tung was an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCSF School of Medicine, San Francisco and was a Clinical Instructor from 2005-2006 at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine, in Evanston, Illinois.
Dr Tung’s clinical interest include: Non-invasive cardiac imaging, Adult congenital heart disease, and Preventive cardiology.
Current research projects that Dr, Tung is involved in include: Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy, Cardiac imaging of patients with premature vascular disease.
Dr. Tung is the author of 8 manuscripts, 2 abstracts and 1 teaching CD-ROM.
